Tinkergarten is now Dandelion Exploring Club!

Sasha Zatyrka, who has led Tinkergarten classes at Hilltop Farm since 2018, now offers the same Tinkergarten curriculum through her own company, Dandelion Exploring Club. Her four-season classes are designed for children ages 18 months to 8 years old and their caregivers.

 

Classes run weekly on Mondays or Thursdays from 10-11 am. The play-based program follows the child's lead in mixed-age learning. The heart of the program is back to the basics of childhood: helping kids and caregivers connect with nature and enjoy open-ended play outside which helps develop so many key skills. There is such beauty in slowing down and allowing kids to notice and engage with the natural world.

2023 Class Schedule

• Six-week summer classes are from 10 - 11 am on these dates:

- Mondays 6/26 - 7/31 

                        or

- Thursdays 6/29 - 8/10   

   (No class on 7/13)

       

 

The summer theme is focused on communication with a summer camp twist and is full of sweet, fun activities and rituals that make the most of summer's bounty, help keep us all cool and support various aspects of communication. Carve out time for the whole family to slow down and enjoy being outside for purposeful play together this summer!​

• Fall classes will run for nine weeks - tentative schedule is:

  • Mondays 9/18 - 11/13 or

  • Thursdays 9/21 - 11/16​

When registration opens, you may sign up for a free session on either Monday 9/11 or Thursday 9/14
