Fire Safety Provisions

Plans are currently being drawn for a sprinkler system on both levels of the large white barn. We are investigating a water supply and plumbing system with the Connecticut Water Company. We have earmarked funds and are currently seeking additional monies for this expensive project. Building and fire codes mandate this project, which when completed, will allow us full use of the barn.

A two-story enclosed fire escape required by code has already been added to the barn. It was formally dedicated in May 2011.  [Photos hyperlink]
